Limelight is MASA’s current project, a new single-stage sounding rocket. It aims to perfect the technology originally used in Clementine, and take MASA higher than ever before. Limelight utilizes a pressure-fed Kerolox system and features custom aluminum propellant tanks, advanced in-house avionics, composite aerostructures, a fully regeneratively cooled engine, and much more. It stands over 23' tall and 13" in diameter, which will break Clementine’s record as the largest student-built rocket in the United States.
